During our knowledge (reading) lessons, we are learning all about social and solitary insects. Students worked today using information they know and have learned recently. Students used a variety of colored paper, scissors, glue and other art materials to create an insect. They made sure to include all the parts of an insect including the antennae, thorax, abdomen, and six legs. After they finished making their insects, students filled out a questionnaire about their insects as well!
