Shape Scavenger Hunt
Today we started a new math unit on geometry and arrays'! We talked about the words vertex, angles, sides, and parallel. After talking about shapes and exploring the attributes and examples of different shapes, we used magazines for a shape Scavenger Hunt. Students had to find different 3-sided, 4-sided, 5-sided, and 6-sided shapes. They cut them out and glued them onto a blank piece of paper then identified what shapes they are!
