We have talked a lot recently about parts of speech. We have discussed nouns, proper nouns, verbs, adjectives, subjects, and predicates. Today we had an activity where students had to pick different nouns, verbs, and adjectives as a class and then we filled in a story from our curriculum books. We also drew pictures to go along with the story.
Today, we got to watch the Oak Class from Giving Tree perform "The Mitten" by Jan Brett. We took time to look at each child's project, talk about the characters and so much more! We then went with the Oak families into the auditorium to watch the performance!
After watching the performance, we took time to make cards for the Oak class telling them they did a great job on their performance!
Today we spent the day celebrating the 100th day of school, even if it was a day later! Students enjoyed doing different activities with 100 of different things. We also talked about what we would do with 100 dollars, our life story when we turn 100 and more! Take a look at the fun!
